Fermented foods-have you tried them? 🥒🌶🧅


No fermented does not mean mouldy!

The benefits you can get from bringing these into your diet are unreal.

These little badboys are packed full of vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, C, K, iron and Calcium and that is just the Kimchi!

These all help to boost immunity.


Fermented foods have also been shown to reduce the amount of time you are ill with a respiratory illness when consumed during this period.


And eating fermented foods can also boost the number of beneficial bacteria found in your gut, healthy gut =healthy body!


I first started trying fermented foods last year after reading Fibre Fuelled by @theguthealthmd and since then have included them in my weekly shop on a regular basis.


Here are some things you can try this week:


Kombucha

Sauerkraut

Kimchi

Kefir

Tempeh
